Of course they don't. They are Lawry's after all.:rolleyes:

You have to call and nag them and even then you may not get what you want.

Try Gagnon's in Oshawa. They often have a good selection of Briley chokes.

I finally heard back from them.

After leaving them 3 VERY detailed requests for prices, all I get back is a message that says "Call us at ###-###-###x".

Why the !@#$% even list your email and fax number as contacts then?

Because they are Lawry's, a company that in my experience sets the benchmark for poor customer service in the Canadian shooting industry.

Not really an option. It's over a 2 hr drive just to get there. I like to shop locally if I can. If not locally, then at least Canadian.

I did email Gagnon as well, and got NO response from them either. The link was broken on their website that had the choke details so I couldn't find out pricing from them either, or what they stock.

I can't always use the phone during the day due to my work schedule, so when a website posts an email address or a fax number as a contact I assume that they are going to check it and get back to me.

I ended up ordering from West Coast Chokes (dot com). Jeff is a really good guy to deal with.
 
they're website isn't the greatest but they have allways been help full in person never called in or emailed them cause they are within walking distance (albeit a long walk) from where i live and is easily accessable by bus
 
Lawry's is a 2 hour drive for me too.

But if I want it, I want it .... Vandalia, Ohio and
Harpswell, Maine aren't too long a drive if you really want something.

I hope to make it to Brescia, Italy some day for something I want, and to
Eibar, Spain, too !!!

I ordered from Jeff at West Coast Chokes (dot com) on a Monday, and they were delivered to my door on the Friday. My first day off that week was the Saturday, so I ended up getting them a day earlier than I could have if I would have planned on driving the 2 hours each way to drop in to Lawry in person hoping that they had them in stock.

I will stick with Jeff's outstanding service.

BTW I emailed 8 Canadian companies for price quotes and to this day only 2 have responded. Neither response was helpful nor did they give me the info that I asked for.

Unfortunately there isn't much point in going to Vandalia these days. I miss my annual shopping trips:(

Brescia is still on my list of places to go. I've been to Eibar a couple of times.

Sparta, Illinois ... now I'll have to think twice before that one ... that IS a LONG drive from here. Miss my "annuals" to Vandalia too ... was getting to know, after a few years, of just where everything was ! ;)

Jeff at West Coast Chokes filled my order nicely with Briley X2s extended chokes for my Beretta 391 and Browning Gold Fusion and Winchester SX3.

I didn't NEEEEED them because they all came with a sweet set of flush ones, but I had an itch for some extended ones.

Oh Hell!! I don't need to explain the theory of "because I want them" purchases to you guys. You wrote the book. LOL!:D
