where in the world can one find cheek rests?

That's a nice looking rest! I think your price is bang on, that is about what I paid (USED) for a Rooster33.

Which I was going to sell...thanks for blowing my market! But seriously I would rather have a regular source of cheekrests for Canadians than a captive audience for my 1 Rooster cheek rest.

I got a rifle cheek rest for about 25 bucks from my local supplier, The manufacturer is called Blackhawk

Here's a Karsten rest. I don't know if he's still making them, but they're pretty good. I bought half a dozen of them knowing they'd find a home on a few of my rifles.

You can have mine.. but you've got to take the rifle with it. ;)

i ordered the same one from blackhawk. for some reason the decided theydidnt want to send it to me after i paid for it, so im still looking for one

Thanks for the info, but I've been having trouble finding that style of one in Canada. I don't want to go with the pad style that you lash onto it. I'm not quite sure what I'll do now.

which style? the strap on cheek riser or the kydex/plastic type?
I can have another run made up of the DWP type as long as they don't have some kind of patent on the shape. I know that Karsten raised a hell of a fuss here on CGN when the Rooster33 cheekrest was all the rage here. He (karsten) was banned hehehe.
anyhow, I'm endeavoring to get the M14Doctor Cheek risers ready for sale within the next few weeks. Our "designed and made in canada" M14 bolt disassembly tool hit the market yesterday :dancingbanana: along with a fresh batch of new manufacture usgi spec oprods , they are listed in the EE :D
I'll update this thread the minute i have the risers ready to ship.
