Hey, I live in Alberta and work in the oil industry. I've felt this way for years.
 
The only thing I can think of is to just hide your guns and then if they come knocking go looking fort it, say you suddenly can't find it, and then report it stolen.

Yeah, it's a false police report, but hen they have to prove it.

That could tie up the system but good.
 
I think what we have here is a vindictive Liberal government that will ruthlessly go after those they don't like (self reliant people who don't depend on them, the West and gun owners) while lavishing their friends with favours (SNC Lavalin, Quebec, the UN). They like it even better when they can blend everything together, for instance crushing gun owners while giving Toronto its wet gun ban dream AND fulfilling the UN disarmament agenda they bought into.

Yep, once the guns are rounded up we will all be rounded up as enemies of the government and it's off to the camps never to be seen or heard from again.

There is lots of room everywhere in this country to ship and dispose of people, out of sight.

sorry,,but never gonna happen,people have history on their side now,and haven't forgotten,and considering the government doesn't have a clue who has what or where,millions on guns will ALWAYS be around,wether they like it or not,Canada will NEVER be disarmed as they dream of,it simply wont happen,as for this bull#### AR ban,the only thing they'll get is stripped cut in half lowers,and we all know how stupidly simple an Ar lower is to make,everything else non restricted,they'll never know where to find those,and you can bet that in today's times,,no gun owner will turn in anything,not to mention the thousands of people who will just fill out a form saying they destroyed it themselves,once again,they wont have a clue,and it's totaly legal to do.,so dissarmement of Canada is just another idiotic Liberal dream,their braindead supporters will swallow it all,but once gun crime keep going more and more,THEY'LL have to explain to their liberal twits how thei ban didn't change a thing,THEY'LL HAVE TO OWN THAT ALL BY THEMSELVES.

I’ve never seen it before but I knew a similiar document would exist. Good job finding it !

This document should be posted at all shooting ranges, so everybody could have very clear understanding what the TRUE agenda is versus ongoing „for your public safety” propaganda.

In particular, section/point #6 in this document needs to be highligthed in very bright color and zoomed in, so finally EVERYBODY would understand that EVERYBODY (including so called „fudds”, no offence....) is going to loose ALL their firearms up to the very last bolt action rifle remaining !!

This document should unite EVERYBODY now, and if still not then we have an extremely serious Internal problem within our firearm community !

I am forwarding this document to all my friends who are licenced firearms owners, and I suggest that everybody woukd share it with as many people as possible.

Again, getting hands on this document - is PRICELESS !

It’s been in the works for years and it’s not the only issue out there being misrepresented.
Being a professional and working with the public I am not going to violate my future and possible criminal investigation over a piece of metal and plastic because of its military resemblance. Nope. It’s already an expensive hobby. I am not to pay more than the price tag already paid.
I am saddened by the loss and the effect to the industry but it’s time to wake up.
PS you have the right to disagree but perhaps you need to focus in seeking appropriate legal direction if you oppose the government’s actions and count the cost. I cannot see to much sympathy from the public, courts or government. What happened in 1978 or 1995 holds little bearing for today. The Pro gun lobby is being dissolved by all the parties in power. They are not stupid.

^^^^^ This is exactly the attitude that the Liberals are hoping for. You are entitled to your opinion. I feel sorry for your children and grandchildren and so on and the world they will be left with this type of attitude.

I can't stand people with that attitude. I would not say majority of Canadian are against guns, I'd say the majority don't really care.
The issue is mostly routed in progressive ideology where the government acts a an over seeing parent. Its a mentality that's deeping entrenched into ALOT of Canadians and the west in General.
I don't like being treated like a child by the government.

We miss the boat by doing nothing to reach the undecided.
 
Every gun owner should move to Alberta, where the provincial government supports gun owners... It would be the safest province of all...
 
It’s never to late. Keep calling and emailing your MP, MLA ETC who ever has any authority. Send registered mail. I’m not going to roll over and let them take my firearms without exhausting every legal option availed to me.
