Where might I find a Savage 24 w/30-30 rifle barrel? And how much $$??

Finally decided to buy a Savage Model 24 for all the mixed-country hunting I do here. It's all either so thick you can't see 10 yards, or wide-open marshes. I want a shotgun for the woods, and a rifle for the marshlands.

Would prefer a .30-30, but .223 might also work. As for the shotgun barrel, 12 or 20. 16 would work in a pinch, but not ideal.

Where can I find a Model 24 configured like this? Have searched Canadian gun dealers' websites to no avail. None on the EE or #######. And I can't find any Euro combo guns chambered in .30-30 or .223, which is of course no surprise.

What's going prices on these guns now?
 
Interesting guns, I've seen/shot a few but never owned one. They seem to have gone up in price with everything else
Epps has them time to time, Think they just sold one in Good condition 30-30/20g that was listed for $699 if that helps.
 
While I like my savage 30-30/20, I wouldn't hesitate to p/u a BRNO or Valmet or other from InterSurplus, and feel I would have a better quality rifle.

Agree with the Brno and Valmet options, I didn't love my 24 - wasn't the most accurate rifle I've owned. But at extremely short range it will likely work fine. Mine did like 150gr Interlocks (regular pointed soft points) though which was neat, they shot decently at "normal" .30-30 speeds.

I will say that the CZ ones that are based on the shotgun frame (with swappable O/U barrel sets?) have often tempted me. But. Thanks to my Suzuki quad crapping the bed this week, acquisition plans must go on hold for now...
 
I had the brno in 308/12 and have shot two savage 24v's with 30-30/20 gauge. No pop open issues. The savage was 7 lbs, brno was 8. Loaded with scope and mounts, pushing 10. Thats too heavy for toting around. Choke was a tight full choke. Of the two, i prefer the 24v, with a trigger job, which is quite easy to do. The newer savage 24 with synthetic stock in 30-30/12 was 8 lbs.

I think the early 24v's were the nicest of them all.
