Where the heck are the "tactical" m14 stocks?

Hi.

Shopping around for an m14 stock. Like to keep my choices open. I know of the m14.ca the blackfeather stock and thats definitely an option.
Who else sells various stocks in canada? Not interested in the archangel stock, causes me to vomit somewhat.

I think that Bashaw deals the Sage EBR chassis but I believe the stock is fixed. I believe there was another sponsor who was selling the un-neutered version but you pay.

Last time I talked with them, they will bring in the sage and then modify the stock in house so it will collapse as its supposed to.

Choate makes a pretty stout unit too. Probably the least expensive option, too. I picked one up from Jerry at Mystic Precision. Choate modifies the Springfield fiberglass stocks and adds either a telestock of a folder, or both.

Word of warning though, they use a proprietary buffer tube for the telestocks, It's a little thicker at the bottom, apparently because they want it beefed up for their tactical shotgun stocks. Easy enough to swap out for a different buffer if you want a different stock. That's what I did. You'll probably have to do some inletting too, because the receiver (at least my 2006 Nork) is so tight a fit that the mags don't want to rock out properly at all, because it squeezes the receiver lugs just that tiny little bit.
