where to buy 1911 parts north of the border??

just wondering if anyone knows of a place to buy 1911 parts(barrel bushing specifically) north of the 49th, i ordered one through brownells but the order was cancelled due to DDTC restrictions, or so the order said. so to make things easier, looking for parts up in the great white north
 
With the dollar today I'd try Brownell's again ( call) they will tell you what's ok and what's not, otherwise you could try and order direct from the manufacturer of whatever you want.

I've ordered rifle rails from EGW and they make 1911 bushings as well.

I personlly have only good words about their customer service !
Fusion has good prices & quality parts, fast shipping, no restrictions for exporting parts to Canada
 
It's possible that the only issue with the bushing you ordered was that the maker wasn't registered for export, most are, some aren't - if you go with one of the bigger names (Wilson, etc.), you shouldn't have any issues.
 
I had the same problem with some 1911 grip panels. Everything shipped but the grips due to DDTC restrictions. I called and reordered some Ed Brown ones. No problem and Brownell's shipped them free. They also sent me a list of their export approved companies. PM me and I'll email you the PDF.
