Hello all

My uncle has an old over-under in 12 Gauge on the bottom and the top is 22 Hi Power/ 5,6 x 52mmR. He and I are looking for ammo, does anyone have an idea where to find some? I understand it's still made by PRVI Partisan, S&B, Fiocchi and a couple other European brands. Any sources where to buy it here? I am in Ontario, near enough to the GTA.

Darn. Hope that some show up! If anyone reading this is in Ontario or outside and willing to make a deal we can talk! Nothing worse than a mint old hunting gun left out because of a lack of ammo.
 
Check with your LGS if you're lucky enuf to have one nearby. I dont have anything except BP within 100+ miles, so SOL for any 'special requests'.
 
I just received a text that Rusty Wood Trading Co., in Mission, B.C., often has (or had) it in stock - their website is showing it as "Out of Stock", but might be worth to contact them to see if they plan to get more and when? I have no clue what brand they might be able to get.

As I recall from a correspondent's efforts, he found a measurable difference among his O/U rifle, North American and European ammo - that what is sold as 5.6x52R is not precisely the same as 22 Savage Hi-Power, although many of us thought they were the same thing.

That guy at the shows with the enfield, bess, mauser parts and long arms also has a large box. Marked Obsolete Brass. Inside is a bag of 24 pieces of Savage Hi Power once fired brass. WRA, REM-UMC, PETERS, SACo. You can have for 20 bucks at Woodstock or Ancaster shows.
