Thats a worrisome question indeed.

Am I paranoid: you bet! - its kept me safe this long.

Has all sound judgment gone out the window? Things like; good taste, politeness, and normalcy.

Is CGN so 'politically correct' that this question, as outwardly violent as this, should be asked and not scrutinized?

For those that might answer this question for the O.P I ask the following:

Will a .22 kill a baby bellow the age of 12 months?:)

Could I kill his father with a .40 calibre if he was a police man and wearing a vest? :)

SERIOUSLY GUYS!! WE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS NOW????

Perhaps he's an anti lookin for a hook? Maybe hes a criminal lookin to get shot by a cop? Or maybe he is someone without common sense (WHICH seems to be a SUPER POWER these days)

The OP never mentioned anything about shooting a police officer. Yeah, it's not the typical question asked on this forum, but we can't blow it out of proportion and let paranoia take over.

Answer Yes.

Now you could take this question two ways.

Can my 40 cal penetrate an officer's vest ? Most here would find this question very offensive. Especially for the police members on the board and those that like them.

Or I can get my hands on some police surplus vest cheap. Does this provide protection for common rounds? Most here would find this question not very offensive.


I read the other guys post and I am leaning on the interpretation of the second rather than the first.

That is a good price,but the vest is just too heavy,I like the light ones.
English is my second language,I'm talking about the vest not the policeman.
I don't love them and I don't hate them at all.
I'm just talking about the quality of the vest that the the police are using.I may go to an Asian country,so I may need one.that's it.
Please don't think about the others.
