Hi all,

I'm trying to find a decent shotgun jag in Calgary. No luck at Crappy tire on Macleod, none in stock at Wholesale, and the CFC only has bore snakes.

You'd think they'd be a pretty common thing but no one seems to have one.

I'd really like to find one like the Kleenbore one with a barbed tip to puncture/hold the patch and "petals" that keep the patch in contact with the bore.

BTW, I live deep in the south and driving all the way to BassPro just to see if they have one is a tad silly, it'd cost me more in gas than the jag is worth. It'd suck to drive all the way up there only to find out they don't have one either.

That said, if anyone is going to be up a BassPro in the near future and wouldn't mind looking to see if they actually have one it'd be much appreciated. Or if you've seen one around town elsewhere please let me know where.

Cheers,
Brad

Shootin' Accessories Ltd has them. Called pressure point shotgun jag. $7.95 1-800-676-8920. They usually ship really fast.

As a side, no one should expect large quantities of cleaning accessories product in this area, anytime soon. Most of this stuff is imported and Canada requires product like lubricants and solvent etc. to have the hazardous warning printed on the label in French as well as English. My understanding is that most companies with the exception of a few like g-96 do not think Canadian business is worth complying. Since brushes, jags and rods are in the same orders and shipment the store shelves remain empty.

Thanks for the tip Covey!

And now I learned something new new today, who'd have guessed that was the reason? Not me. Ahhhhh bilingualism, ain't it great?

G96 is working on their labelling but Gunslick products should be the first to come in to Canada with proper packaging. From what I've seen the new labels all look pretty goofy with the huge warnings on them.
