Where To Buy a Holster???

You can get some AWESOME deals on eBay. Often you can get stuff for way cheaper than buying off the shelf or from other online retailers. Just sayin'!

What type of holster are you looking for?

OWB, IWB, Drop-leg rig?

I would highly recommend you look at the Raven Concealment holsters. Seeing it's for a Glock, Darrent @ OST may have one in stock as I recall him getting a shipment of them not too long ago. What may be a hang up will be if he has the holster that'll specifically fit your light.

If he doesn't, have a look at Raven's website to see if they have what you need in their "Quick Ship" line up. From ordering to shipping it's about a day or two. If not, it's a couple of weeks (but still worth the wait).

Also, check out their Moduloader system that work with the HSGI taco pouches - fantastic piece of kit!

Solely Canadian is made in BC and available through Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supply. Reasonably priced and are liked by those who have them. Kydex is kydex, so it really doesn't matter who's holster you run, any reputable make will do the job.

I order most of my holsters out of the US. End up paying more for duties and shipping but the selection and availability far outdoes what canadian suppliers have. Especially for leather.

Thanks guys, I was looking for an owb, I'm pretty new to the game but I like the Bladetech for my 1911's. Something similar to that would be great.

Bladetechs are sold everywhere it seems. The TLR-3 combo is a little unusual, though so you may have to special order it. DS Tactical is a sponsor, and I recall them having a huge Bladetech section.

Depends on your definition of "reputable". I've been disappointed with a few Kydex holsters ordered from US websites. While the material may be the same (or it might not, actually - thicknesses do vary), design and workmanship plays a huge role. I'd love to compare a Solely Canadian holster with my Raven, for sure.

very true, I should have clarified my post by saying kydex holsters between reputable companies will be the same all things considered. There's only so many ways to mould kydex. The fit and finish and minor details are really the difference from brand to brand.

Solely Canadian (rollie100 on this board), makes absolutely great stuff. I've got one of his earlier holsters and it's been a good reliable piece of kit. Shows minimal wear through a year and a half of use. I think I've done three courses with it....no issues.

How do you order a holster from the States? I ordered one and it got refused.. told me it was prohibited to send it to ontario. I can't even order medical first aid kits got goodness sake.

Holsters aren't covered by ITAR - whoever told you that was wrong. As far as First Aid kits go, some of the stuff in the kit (specifically clotting agents) have very strict distributorship arrangements and that's why the US distributor won't allow the kit to be shipped to Canada. There are also tons of legal complications with anything medical in the US - I think (might be wrong) it's due to them not having a "Good Samaritan" law.
