Hey folks,
any idea where I can get one of these in Canada?
Thanks for your consideration.

Glock, the only gun that takes a butt plug![]()
I just learned that the grip plug is not regulated as a gun part. It is a "Non-Regulated Item".
So that means that you can order it from Brownells.
For the non-enlightened, such as myself, what does that do?
I believe there was a Larry Vickers test where he ran Glocks up against some other guns in really sandy, dusty conditions. They ended up having issues with crud getting in under and around the trigger bar IIRC. Now he recommends plugging the hole as cheap insurance.
On the other hand, when the hole is plugged, some people argue that you can't get as good a grip on the mag if you have to rip it out.
I have never had this be a problem myself but then I only have a few thousand rounds through my G20.
There is a large stretch of desert in BC...some people spend a lot of time there.
But I would guess that dust and sand are not the only media that would jam up under a glock trigger bar.
I don't have a plug in mine, but I can see why someone might want one.
The interior of BC that runs from the border up through to Salmon Arm and contains Skaha lake and Okanogan Lake is actually the top end of the same desert that starts down at Death Valley. It runs up through California, Oregon, Washington and finishes here in BC. And yeah, it can be a little dusty up there at times in the summer. Good place to grow grapes and make good wine though....![]()
