Hi,
So i'm in the market for an M14. However, i would like to buy it from a street-front store, new. I'm from montreal, does anyone know a store that carry m14 regularly (within 2 hour drive if possible...) ?

Wait for the fall gun show in Longueuil - Someone ALWAYS has a Norinco M14 or two for sale...

...Also, Dante in Montreal or CRAFM in Lachine might be worth checking out.

I bought one a while ago from l'Armurerie Du Lac in Coteau du Lac which is about 45 min. from Montreal. It's not a store as he operates his business from his home and he also advertises on les PAC.

He has one right now at ht tp://www.lespac.com/d-sports-loisirs-chasse-et-peche-coteau-du-lac-carabine-norinco-m305-m14-crosse-noire-LPCaZZ9679517

Got mine from there too!

Real M14's are prohibited. Look for a Norinco M305, Polytech M14s or a Springfield Armory Inc. M1A.

Interesting, I just spoke to the CFC this week about importing an Armscorp M14 (which is stamped, US RIFLE) and the CFC indicated that they have six entries for Armscorp M14s that are non-restricted, okay to import. Now, these are clearly not the select fire originals, but they are still listed by CFC under the name M14.

CRAFM had three today plus the display model. I bought one. Black stock, 1 mag, sling, no disassembly tool. It was like $500 + tax.
