Where to buy an SKS

i do know the ones at mil arm are unissued. with the bayo as well i think. for around 300 bucks u get the sks and 1000 rounds
 
i would strongly recommend P&D enterprise in edmonton. you can get the basic sks or one with a druganov stock or folding. the customer service there is second to none.
 
The SKS that I purchased at Lever Arms for $135.00 was brand-new in the box with cleaning kit, sling and oil bottle.......

I bought a crate of ammo to go with it....

IMHO a great value for money spent.....:)
 
The ones at Levers these days are all bin sks, there are no matching numbers and you get the cut down version that is 18,5 " long. good value, but bogus SKS

I believe the SKS-D is out of production, so no more are to be made. Best bet for a D model is the EE forum. There are still plenty out there, but prices have been slowly rising (usually around 250-300$ now)

Are you serious about those prices? Man, I should've picked one up last year then. I think they were only around $190 new then here.

Not less than $200 (about $369.00-ish), but the best "non-parts bin" SKS has to be the Yugo M55 or M66B from www.marstar.ca
 
Me and a buddy picked ours up (my second) at Millarm last week. Looks mint and shoots like a hot damn, better accuracy than my first one. Definatily not parts bin quality. They had half a crate in the middle if the gun counter floor. They were going fast... 4 sold as we were shooting the s*#t with Gord.
 
All SKS's are out of stock and Norinco no longer makes or has any, what is here in Canada is here and that is it. Gao Yuhua from norinco informed me that "Norinco make no more SKS/or model D for Jianada" all sellout..
Gao is a good guy.. :)
