Where to buy Barrel for Build

May be stating the obvious but you will need a pistol length gas tube. ATRS recommended a Full Auto version BCG when I built mine as it has a little bit more mass for cycling. My BCG is from Brownells and it works fine. I'm running a carbine buffer and have had no problems at all. No FTE or FTF in close to 300 rounds so far.

Either commercial or milspec buffer tube will due. They don't affect function.

This advice doesn't make a lot of sense. The difference between a FA carrier and a semi one is less than one ounce. Putting in a heavier buffer is the best way to add more mass. The CF found that the H2 buffer was the most reliable with various upper receivers ranging from 20" to 10".

Well I got my lower completely assembled. I just have a standard carbine buffer in it at the moment which i will be swapping out.

I ordered a few more parts last evening from brownells, but by accident ordered the Spikes T1 heavy buffer instead of the T2. I have added parts that I will need for my build to my favorites list on the site, and just fill my cart and order from that list as I go, but must have accidentally added the T1 instead of the T2 by mistake, and didn't notice until just after I ordered.

Will I have issues with the T1, or should I let it show up, try it out once the rifle is together, and if I run into any issues order the T2 at that point?

The T-1 Buffer is Fine. It is still a 'Heavy' buffer. It weighs more than a standard Carbine buffer.

The t2 is kinda extreme at 115grams. Unless you need something to fine tune your system, you would buy all three and see which works best.

The T1 is fine for 99% of us.
