Hi I live in Burnaby, BC, and I hope if somone can tell me where I can buy a bottle or two Break-Free CLP? I'm looking for this brand:

http://ww w.break-free.com/

I went down Lever Arms and another gun shop the other day and they both ran out, does anyone know where else I can look in Vancouver or Burnaby? Thank you for your time.

If you want one of the really big bottles with the pump spray nozzle, and you happen to be down in Bellingham, I used to buy them at Yeager's Sporting Goods. You might also try Hardware Sales, and the WalMart in Bellingham.

Hardware Sales also carries Kroil and CorrosionX.

FWIW we have several drums of CLP arriving in a few weeks. I haven't set pricing as yet, but it will be much cheaper than the usually pricing.

How is that place?

It came in after I moved away from the GVRD.:(

As you would probably expect, big. I especially like the fact that all the firearms-related supplies are in the aisles so that you can help yourself. I've haven't been to Cabelas in Lacey to compare prices, but they didn't seem too bad....Wipe-out for $10 and a pint of CLP for $10.

The mounts at the front of the store are pretty impressive too.

$10 for a pint of CLP, if I calculate that right, thats a dam good price. I pay $6 tx in for 120ml (4fl oz.) of Break Free CLP. If my math is right, one pint equals 16 oz. Are you sure its a pint ????

Okay, just to be clear...is CLP used as a cleaning agent?

If so, can this be used after every outing?

CLP means:

C - Cleaner
L - Lubricant
P - Protectant

It can be used after each firing, but it would be better to use a dedicated bore cleaner (Hoppes, Sweets 7.62, Kroil, etc.) after each range session for cleaning the bore, then follow up with Break Free CLP to lubricate the bore and any metal surfaces.

I actually switched to Corrosion X for lubrication and protection.
