where to buy CIENER .22LR CONVERSION UNIT in canada

You're still capped at 10 rounds in Canada on handgun magazines. The rimfire exemption only applies to rifles.
From what I recall, most dealers in Canada are reluctant carry Ceiners are not all that reliable and Ciener is a pain in the butt to deal with on warranty and repair issues.

rimfirecentral.com users don't have anything nice to say about Ciener. Advantage Arms is apparantly the conversion to go with for 1911 and/or Glock.

I owned a Ciener kit, never shot it, sold it and buyer said it worked fine with a good lubing.

I have talked to Jonathan Ciener on the phone and yes, he is a complete ####### IMO. For this reason I will never give that man another dime in my life. He knows nothing about customer service.

I would reccommend a Kimber. Incidently it is my understanding that Ciener manufactured the conversions for kimber at one time, however Kimber now makes their own.

thanks to all repliers,I would never ever consider ciener:p what about WilsonCombat's 22 conversion kit since my CQB is on the way and wc does nothing but nice stuff.

Most of you already know that I have a Wilson Combat (read: Ciener) kit. I just love the darn thing. My wife adores it since it's so much fun to shoot.

My teen sons and all of their friends have learned the 1911 controls using this kit that is dedicated to a Norinco .45 frame (fulltime... is this redundant?).

The only jam I ever get is when the slide has not been cleaned after say.... 500 rds of Federal BulkPak 525 count ammo. That's all my fault. A few drops of Militec or CLP or Hoppe's Gun Oil and we are good to go.

I cannot praise this kit enough. And yes, I am very aware of Ceiner's lack of customer support both on the phone and at their website. They are the epitome of dickheads even if JA Ceiner is a brilliant man, he's still a dickhead about promoting his business.

Now I just gotta find a way to make this conversion kit last forever. I know... I'll go and buy another Ruger 22/45 and shoot that to death with my newbie friends.... yuk yuk yuk yuk

Hope this helps,
Barney
