Where to buy complete Glock slide?

So I was looking at buying a complete G17 slide but don't from where and who's got the best price?
I'd also be looking for either a factory slide or aftermarket stainless slide for a project.
Looking at doing some mill work to one and I was hoping to find the least expensive in case I mess things up a bit.
Any ideas?

Not common.... A few sources if you're in the States, but pretty rare up here.

Would I run into any CBSA issues if buying from south of the border?
Or any other Glock parts for that matter?

Other than being required to pay taxes?? Probably not... Everything other than the lower frame is GTG. The US rules are different, but that's the exporters issue.

The Glockstore in the US claims they can ship their brand of slides to canada but not Glock OEMs.

In one of the recent survivalist/prepper magazines there was an article on customizing glocks. There were at least half a dozen outfits offering custom glock slides from mild to wild stainless, carbon steel and IIRC modified glock slides too.

I don't remember which magazine it was, though. Sorry, but I give my magazines to friends and they get to read 'em before they get tossed or passed along

Calgary Shooting center has a display case with a half dozen aftermarket glock slides in it.

If I am not mistaken, CRAFM sell aftermarket Glock slides.
