where to buy components...

local gunshops in the nearest cities to my own. I go from city to city ( usually within 45 min of each other and get the best price i can.
Notice my own post on pricing?)
shop around without having to pay for shipping is the best bet.

After tacking a Hazzardous goods and shipping charge to most mail order places its will probably cost you a lot more than shopping localy.

Stock up when you happen to be near some big retailers.

Depending on where you are, there may be numerous options. What city are u in  and let the members give you the info.

I think at P&D you will not find much "sorry, sold out" or worse "you can only have 1lb....".

They usually have a good supply of most things.

In Edmonton, I urge everyone to support P&D. They have made real efforts to keep everything in stock, and it really shows. Their prices are good, and you don't have to wait in line for half an hour and then try to explain to some schmuck that obviously doesn't give two craps that what you want actually exists and is, in fact listed in their useless catalogue. Just go to P&D.

So far, I've ordered my Lee presses, a few dies and Lee Melters from SIR, which actually has some very good prices and saves me on ON PST. Higginson's has since taken over as the biggest source of dies and components. BC Redneck carries some hard to find Graf's components such as 8x56R bullets and brass, 7.5 Swiss brass, nicely priced 9.3x62 brass and 9.3mm bullets. I have also relied upon Ellwood Epps to order 9.3mm dies and found the local Lebaron an okay source for Hogdon powders and some Winchester components, saving me the $15 Hazmat fee that comes with powder purchases. It's probably a good idea to support your local gunshops which will save you on shipping and increase availability.

Regards,

Frank
