I called Savage Arms in the USA and they shipped one to my door for my Savage 16.

I think I bought my 10 rounders from Dark Eagle Custom who used to advertise here . They work very well but are expensive .

i wasn't impressed with the dark eagle custom...found the fit and finished to be lacking for a magazine as spendy as that and when i voiced my concerns the response was less helpful than expected. savage now has a 10 round mag out in one of their new guns. hopefully it will make the dark eagle ones obsolete and offer a reasonably priced alternative. plus when putting the mag in the rifle the bolt must be open or it won't click into place. when there are 10 rounds are in the mag the top round usually pops up and causes a double feed if you want to use all 10 rounds. i would sooner live with the 4 round factory or talk to a machinist buddy and make them right. myself.

Just a note. Savage USA has a $20.00 rate ship to canada. So if ordering a mag, you might what to get some extra parts well your at it.
