Where's a good place to look for a good new synthetic stock for the Norinco M-14? I hear USGI is good but hard to find in undamaged condition and also hard to get across the border.

Anyone use the McMillan M1A or M3A?

Anyone use the Fulton Sage EBR system?
Are there legal issues?

What about the Sage CA legal stock?

Any other ideas?

I have a stock usgi for sale

I have a USGI stock for sale, issue brown paint, slightly used, needs the nut to hold the upper but screw in place and a but plate. I can give you a norc butt plate with it gratis, but you'll need a nut and machine screw. A very good part that will work can be had in the hardware bins of TSC or Can tire, or probably hungry can set you up.

you will need to fill the selector cut out and the notch by the take down pin, as per all USGI stocks. 125$

was hoping for non-us GI new or usgi unused. What hardware from norc can be transfererred over?

All of it, except you need a machine screw for the upper buttplate rather than the wood screw in the wooden stock. The lower screw screws into the sling loop. The one I have was a Fred's very good with used but place. I stole the screw, but it turned out I didn't need the stock. I can send a pic if you want to see it. Other guys have them out there too, and some of them have them painted and filled already, look in EE.....finding the bits you want is half the fun

Check the Exchange Parts forums.

Ardent has few synthetics and one wood(if still unsold). I also saw another guy out west having some he found in the shed for as low as $100.

If I had the $$$ I would go with McMillan M1A or JAE100 stocks.

Yeah...about that......

The US Optics is sweet as well...and again......expensive..

I got the bucks...I like the JAE the best, I could probably drive it across the border and save a few bucks. Or I may go for two guns, one with a simple stock and one with a jae...

are there legal issues with a jae stock...in terms of it looking too "military"?
