I am new to reloading and I am looking for some 45acp hard case bullets. I can find them in the USA for $65/1000 but much higher in Canada at $70-80/500 so over twice the price. are there any good suppliers in Canada with fair prices?

I buy Cactus Plains bullets, either at a gun show or from a local reseller. ~$85/1000.

They don't have much of a web presence, but send them an email and find out if they have a reseller near you.

I cast a lot for 45 ACP. I have an ad on the EE, $10/100 for 200gr SWCs. I also cast 230 gr round nose and 230 gr round nose flat points in lower volume.

What are you using them for? Unless you're driving them at very high speed you really don't need bullets any harder than wheelweight alloy. In fact hard bullets driven at low velocities will likely give you poorer accuracy than softer alloy bullets which obturate (expand) better in the bore.

The Bullet Barn in British Columbia has excellent hard cast, also they have a dealer in Calgary if you are close to either of these places. Price is 100/1000 last time I looked. There is also SHOOTER READY that sells Campro FMJ bullets for 79.00/1000{that's for 9 mm, not sure what 45 would be]

"...good suppliers in Canada with fair prices?..." If you think Canadian bullet retailers are charging more than you like due to greed, you need to learn some basic economics. Everything costs more here. The U.S. market is 10 times the size of ours to start with.

Kozlojack. Put your location on your profile, so members can give you meaningful advice. If you are in PEI, there is no point in me telling you about a guy who sells at low prices in Guelph.

As for Canadian prices, I pay $65/1000 for 230 gr 45 bullets. That is as good as an American price. I also notice that Budget Shooter Supply in BC has Berrys bullets in stock at $10/100. Some American sites charge more than that, and it is very difficult to find an American dealer with any stock to sell.
