Where to buy high end subsonic hp .22lr?

Can't seem to find any Canadian retailer that carries RWS subsonic HPs or Eley subsonic HP. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Subsonic HP's won't expand properly and make a clean kill at such a low velocity. You're far better off with the deeper penetration of a heavy bullet. Of better yet, don't hunt with subsonics.

any idea what shipping costs are for a brick on average? I understand it depends on your postal code but I put a brick in a cart & they want me to join first.. Also what form of shipping do they use?

I have shot many grouse with PMC Moderator subsonic. HP and they work well. Hard to find though....

CCI quiet at my LGS. 3.89 for a 50 box and it is indeed quiet. You can watch the projectile travel to the target! One bounced off a splitting log in my garage from 2 feet away

You can get cci quiet 22lr in LRN and CPHP but the HP are about double the price. They only travel around 700 fps however and won't cycle most semi autos. That being said I have used both and they were decent for squirrels within 20 yards with proper shot placement.

If your looking for subsonic hollow point try Remington Subsonic.

And while their not match "quality" myself and many other members here have gotten GREAT accuracy with them.

try CCI 40gr LHP subsonic 1050 ft/sec...very accurate in my 10/22

You could, aside from shopping for two features that are at odds with each other, look at buying one of those tools that are used to swage a great gaping cavity into the nose of the bullet. Paco Kelly is one maker. Never used one, use CCI quiets when I want quiet, and whatever HV Hollowpoint I have, when I want the expansion of a hollowpoint.

Do you actually know that the ammo you are shopping for works for your gun, or are you busy trying to find something that you think will be the 'answer' from reading about it?

Welcome to the real world, where the rest of us use what we have!

As to shipping rates, phone the supplier, talk to alive person. They should be able to sort you out. Most of the places that deal in this sort of stuff are not run by folks that deal as well with email traffic as they do a phone call.
