Do you want an original metal one, Norinco or USGI, or is it a rubber one like they put on the Springfield M1A's?

I have a norc one...I am interested in the rubber version. Not convinced just interested

I use the Promag M1A recoil pads, LOVE EM!!..... I do have a few spares they mount up with no mods to stock or pad and fit the same profile as the metal buttplate.

Do you still have use of the butt stock storage compartment with them?

I still have an extra, p.m. me
and it does prevent access to storage tubes. The promag fits the same contour as the buttplate and adds about an inch to length of pull. they go on ALL my keeper m14's
