I am looking to buy a quality, new M1A gas system ( gas tube, piston and plug), a trigger assembly national match op rod guide and spring.

Does anyone sell such parts in Canada? If not, who does?

Thanks!

WildWestShootingCentre in Edmonton can get you parts.

Wolverine Sports in Virden, Manitoba can get you parts.

If you can't find in Canada,
Call Sandy Moranville at Brownells international desk
You can order the standard M1A cylinder but you will also need to get spindle valve/spring/retaining pin , as well as a piston and plug.
Quite reasonable $$wise and much cheaper than a complete usgi assembly
I'll pm you this afternoon. My standard inspection fee is 40.00
Stock fit, bolt timing, gas system inspection, headspace measured, trigger inspected, ect.
Basically a complete once over with written inspection report included

I can provide Tartan Tactical oprod spring guides
Alberta Tactical Rifle was carrying Wolfe/brownells spring packs
Trigger groups can be a tough thing to source, try brownells

Xman, if you are spending all that gold on the gas system, send it to someone like M14dr, and have him unitize the gas right. There are many ways to do it half a$$, but the ones I have seen from him are well aligned.

...trying to find M14/M1A parts?...

...don't forget the gun shows!....I've been really lucky to find them (cheaper)...and made more "friends" in the process......

It looks like I won't be needing to replace the Norinco one after all. I got my rifle to work flawlessly again. But I would like to get an new piston that will work with the Norinco gas tube.

Can you guys point me in the right direction to buy one of those?

Thanks

PM me I got an extra one kicking. Also what was the issue with your rifle short stroking?

"...importing an M1A gas system..." Shouldn't be. The M1A is a commercial sporting rifle. Any M14 part, including stocks, is restricted for export.
