Where to buy magazines for my colt Challenger

I recently picked up a 1952 colt challenger .22 but it only came with one magazine. Now I am trying to track down some extras. I know western gun parts sells reproductions for $50 each but they would not tell me who the manufacturer was and I have heard horror stories about some reproductions. Original colt magazines would be ideal but I would take repros if they work reliably. Anyone have experience with the woodsman mags from western gun parts or better yet a source for original mags? I even considered buying a norinco mag just to see if I could make it work so any suggestions are welcome especially if you have personal experience to share
