Hey guys,

I just recently passed my CRFSC course and I'm waiting on getting my RPAL in the mail.

I'm completely new to firearms and am mostly looking to purchase WWII era firearms because of my interest in the era. I was just wondering, where would I go about finding milsurp of these weapons such as the SVT-40, K98, M1 Garand, Gewehr 43 and others?

Welcome to the site. Lot's of the businesses at the top of this website have varying degree's of milsurps for sale, gun shows, or the Equipment Exchange(EE) on this site.

Be prepared to sell both of your kidneys if you want an M1, a K98, AND a G43. But other than that, go nuts! The Mosin Nagant 91/30 is a great starting point :) Was my first gun.

Ehh, K98s can be cheap depending on how far you want to go from a all-matching German model. Israeli, Czech, and mismatches can be cheap.

The G43 is the pinnacle of milsurp for me. Well... legally, I would love a MP40 or a MG42.

finding them is the easy part cash flow thats another thing .Carefull its addictive, i started with a lee enfield and it keeps on going but i love it,its like christmas every time one arrives in the post

Try P&S Militaria in Quebec, that is where I bought my Springfield M1 Garand. I think they are out of Garands but they have boat loads of SVT-40s.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'd love a FAL too. An MKB42/STG44 would be stellar too. It's a shame these things are prohibs.
