I have looked high and low, cannot find anyone selling the Mossberg 930 SPX. Anyone out there that can steer me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!!

They were always a little difficult to find, because in original configuration they came with an 8 shot magazine=prohib. Some retailers did get some, but they had to have a shortened magazine tube.

The first version the magazine was all one piece, so those were all prohib. There was a version that came out with a regular magazine tube (5 round) and a 3 round extension that was removable. In my case, I just built my own. Bought the security version with the 18.5" barrel, and added scattergun technologies ghost ring sights, a +2 (or +3 I can't remember) extension from S & J (properly plugged of course), a pic rail scope base, oversized safety, tactical charging handle (all from Simon at S & J) and a 5 round side saddle. Not factory, but it works, and I like the Scattergun Technologies sights better.

Right here;

I looked though this thread and the other forums but I'm still not having any luck tracking down a supplier for the Mossberg 930 SPX Tactical. I know that the issue is the magazine capacity but does anyone know of a dealer who offers a 'Canadian' version with a plugged barrel. Thanks.

Yeah.

I Run Guns routinely brings these guns in.

They will glue a piece of wood inside the magazine tube, so it only holds 5 shells.

CBSA/RCMP are fine with this.
