Just what the title says, Ive decided to go with the savage 12fvss in a 223. I figure theres no sense buying the LE version with the choate stock since I'm just going to replace that one as well. Now where to buy it from, I'm thinking from wholesale as they were very helpful when i was in last. There asking $699 for it and i don't think i will find it much cheaper than that. Any thoughts ???

If you have found a dealer that actually has 1 in stock, buy it.
With varmit season here and all Savage product being in short supply , you will find you will fall into 1 of 2 catagories, the quick or the disappointed.

Hey I have a Savage 223 in a fluted stainless with a synthetic stock, It also has a 26" barrell, I used this rifle for shooting primarily at the range but I did manage to shoot a couple of coyotes as well. I don't use it anymore and it is about 13 months old , very good shape. If your interested let me know. Also before I forget it has a nice 4200 on it for optics, also in new condition. I would let it go for $950.00.

The first upgrade is gonna be getting rid of that ugly as# stock Any sugestions?
