As with so many things in life, timing is everything.
Once you track one down, you will love the P226 Extreme. I got mine at Wolverine Supplies , but I have also seen them on the Al Flaherty's website as well.

NP. for the price though, I would like to suggest to get the .40S&W, then ask the guys @ IRUNGUNS to see if they can get the x-change kit to 9mm. Then you have two guns in one @ much cheaper price. That's my plan for my 9mm extreme anyway. And .40S&W ammo is much easier to find these day which is another plus.
The $799 US Sig Extreme was a great deal. It's a hard to find 'up level' P226. If I were you, I'd ask in the IRG thread if anyone wants to sell theirs.
I love the 'no beavertail and no E2 grips' on this version but with the custom G10 grips and SRT. P226 is an awesome pistol in base form but this has some upgrades and other things that are really not needed (unless you like a beavertail that has no real purpose or have small hands).
