Where to buy Springfield XD 9? - not XDM-- Also OPINIONS?

Which dealer has them in stock- new?

I was looking for one, it has become rare find.

I have them already, thanks.

Wanted something different, and tried another member's XD 9 and really liked it.
Fits my hand well, and is easy to hit with.

What is opinion of CGN members on XD 9, and what are issues with this pistol?
 
I just found one this weekend... waiting on the CFO approval.

guy I got it from says like new, only 10 shots thru her!

I am excited.

and yes I got a Glock 17 too.

I read replacement parts were hard to find... or get.

I have 8-10 000 rounds thru mine, no issues, no failures. Did finally break down and replace the recoil spring. I like it alot, feels and points better for me then either glock or M&P but really is no different. The more you shoot it, the better the trigger will get. Not much to say really, shooter well and accuratley with any bullet i've fed it, jacketed, cast or plated and often goes 1000-1200 rounds between cleanings with nary a hickup. just a workhorse of a gun!

Thanks guys, I am in- purchased one today!

Every time I got to shoot somebody else's at the range I enjoyed it.

It was time to get my own.



Anyone else with opinion and/ or experience to share, please do.
 
if anyone ever needs a spare recoil spring for one, let me know, springfield armory sent me 5 instead of the 5 mag springs i wanted, then told be to keep them, and sent the proper springs up for free :)
 
One of the favourite things about my new XD 9 are mags.

Maybe Glock should ask Springfield to supply mags for them? :stirthepot2:


EDIT:

Smith & Wesson M&P project managers might wanna look where Springfield gets mags as well.
