Where to buy the Ruger SR22 pistol?

Hi guys,

I've been researching .22 pistols and the gun that most appeals to me is the Ruger sr22. I haven't seen any retailers selling it in canada, but assume I can get one with a longer barrel? Can you guys chime in?

Do you have tiny hands? I ask because I handled one or two of these at a gun show in Florida. They are quite petite, especially the grip. Just a heads up before you go jumping through hoops to make one Canada-legal.
 
I'd say my hands are average sized. I would like to own something unique and the pistol has really excellent reviews. I've made my mind up on it, but have no idea on how to make it Canadian legal. Are there any threads that cover This process on here?
 
you need an importer to aquire both the pistol and the barrel, bring the two together and then have it registered as a restricted. There was a recent thread on this where it was quickly determined that the cost would more then double. If you still want one, talk to Irunguns.
 
I'm interested. I handle one almost every time I go south... It's so tiny and plastic it feels like a toy... plus I just want to expand my SR line of pistols
