I've purchased my last few Stealth cams from Cabelas when on sale but I was just curious to know where everyone is purchasing their Trail cams for the best prices?

I'd prefer Stealth but not opposed to other brands.

If you like the Stealth cams, TSC has them on sale once in a while. I picked up a 3 pack of them for $169 during their Black Friday sale for my brother.

TSC always seem to have the best price around here, picked up 2 muddy cam 14's for $69.00/ea . I don't buy expensive cameras to many thieves in the woods these days. Bait cams with a trophy rock in the summer and move to scrapes in the fall that gives me a good idea if any shooters are living in the area. You don't need fancy cams when you hang them on mineral or scrapes.

You guys buy them? I find them in the woods, they come with batteries and a sd card lol.

Just kidding!

Man I should've thought of that! Hahaha

Knock on wood I've never had one stolen, but I have had a few people walk by them. I always make sure they're locked to the tree so at least the thief would have to put in some effort.

If stealth cams are your jam, just keep watching TSC. During the year they are usually on the sale rotation.
I keep an eye on amazon for when the browning cams rotate through on sale. Amazon.ca will have them at good sale prices. Amazon.com will have them at amazing sale prices, if that is an option.

Haha, yeah me too. I wire them up tight as I don’t want any bears ripping them off, so if a human wanted to steal mine they’ll need pliers or cutters. They’re welcome to it if they want to go to the trouble of getting it off, that’s why I buy cheaper trail cams. I’m not looking for high res pics and the cheaper ones are more than adequate for my needs, where I have mine I never catch any two legged animals on the camera so I’m not to worried about theft.

What model Stealth do you like?

I've got a couple G42's and G45's that I happened to catch on sale at Cabelas that I've had really good luck with. There's no way I'd pay full price for them though. Might have to watch in the states too I guess.
With the exchange rate and shipping it may be a better idea to shop local..

If the OP (or anyone for that matter) lives close to the border, it is a lot cheaper to head over to the states to pick cams up. Even after exchange. Example the Stealth PX18 combo (16MP) is reg $99 at Cabelas/Basspro in the states, Up here reg price is $153.

So therefore after taxes and exchange in the states it is around $130 CDN Reg Price.
Canada after taxes is $175 CDN reg price for the same identical cam.

Yup only a 2 hour drive to the border from here and in Montana there is NO tax! I make a few trips a year so I'll just have to price check everything in Canada before heading down.

A co-worker ordered a no-name brand from Amazon last year, $80 delivered. He loaned it to me recently and I used it for about a month, absolutely amazing pics and videos. Thinking of ordering a couple myself.

Can you check what brand they are?

Sure thing, I'll ask him and PM you next week. I think I tried ordering the same one but found that it was no longer available. Went to Amazon and found half dozen identical cameras with different names, probably the same factory churning them out. Campark, Apeman and Toguard are the brands de-jour on Amazon right now, unless everyone working at the Chinese factory is instructed to leave a positive comment, their reviews are pretty good.
