where to buy? - VZ58S, VZ58L & CZ858-4/2

Congrats to all the new owners! They're a blast to shoot.

I got mine from TNT in Regina. It came with a separately packaged black pistol grip and forend stock. Looks like a scope could be mounted on the forend stock?

Did anybody else get that with theirs? I just ask because I don't think I've seen a picture of them installed on a gun anywhere.

I think you should go back and attend a few more of those meetings. Just watch out for those "black government helicopters" up in the sky... they have a special radar that can detect CZ-858 owners and my sources tell me that they're especially on the lookout for you. It seems like you have spewed the secret anti-CZ agenda they entrusted you with. :runaway:

P.S. For 1400$ (or even 1200$), you can keep your dear CZ-858 and stick it somewhere very 'restricted'... you are the incarnation of what gives the EE section a bad rep on CGN! :mad:

To everyone else: I have bought a CZ-858 two weeks ago from Epps for 650$ (very slightly used, with 4 mags, bayonet, scabbard & cleaning kit)... smooth transfer, I had it in less than a week. I inquired and they told me that there hasn't been any issues at all with the CZ-858 rifle transfers, nor any indication that there would be.

I received an e-mail from wolverine saying that they don't know for sure when they will receive more 858 rifle but it will probably around May, so just wait in line by e-mailing them :), about the restricted version I have no interest nor any information.
 
CZ858 delivery

We are getting a lot of calls about the delivery of our next shipment, yes this is overdue. We are waiting for the flight permission as required in Europe, we expect this to be approved at any time, only when that approval is granted can this shipment start it’s journey, this can be expected to take 7 -14 days assuming no problems are encountered. All the CZ 858-2 and most of the CZ 858-4 in this shipment are spoken for at this time. These will be the last rifles with a recommended retail price of $650.00.

The following shipment expected in May/June should clear all back orders and leave some for inventory. These rifles will all be at the new price of $695.00. We have held the price at $650.00 since the first imports in 2005 but we have now had a factory price increase and our shipping costs have risen since then.

The CZ 858-2 is non-restricted with a 19 inch non chromed barrel.
The CZ 858-4 is restricted due to standard 15.8 inch barrel, chrome lined.

The hunt is still on. I called all the names in this post plus a lot of guns stores from the yellow pages and still nothing...
I'm going to have to wait for the second boat...
