I've tried Lebarons and Bass Pro. They don't sell wolf/coyote tags. Any other idea? How about Ellwood Epps? (I will pass by when I go hunting Thursday)

Thanks,
Rudi

Tags to kill dogs? No wonder predator hunting is down and predator numbers are beginning to get out of control. Here in BC it's just part of your hunting license, and still people aren't interested, I can't imagine what it would be like if we had to pay extra to kill them...I mean they are called varmints for a reason.

And if I remember well the number of tags you can use is limited to 2/year.

I'm planning to try WMU56 (around Minden, although it seems they have 2 feet snow) so I need a tag there.

its only in certain areas. the powers that be are concerned about a genetically distinct species of wolf, so you are limited to only two wolf/coyotes throughout their core range. The areas with the highest numbers of yotes are still wide open.

upnorth where I am it is 2 tag limit on top of small game license.
$9.75 each wolf and coyote game seal.
I buy mine at service ontario.

EDIT: Hope this helps

my tag says right on it- (required during the open season in WMU 1-42, 46-50 and 53-58 inclusive)

Yes North of the French et Mattawa Rivers is the 2 tag limit, and south of that its open season year round, kill as many as you want.

No. I live south of the French and mattawa rivers and must buy tags. It is primarily concerning areas around Algonquin park as that is the core range of the Eastern Wolf. Algonquin lies entirely south of the French and mattawa rivers.

Their are so many myths concerning what can be done south/north of those rivers its rediculous. Most of them i think are remnants of laws from years and years ago.
