Can somebody please tell me where to find these two mythical calibers still being sold in stores, I've only been able to find either of them at gun shows, every store I check doesn't carry either of them because their isn't any demand apparently.

Not even the great internet has aided me in my search for them. it probably doesn't matter but they're for pre 64 94 Winchester repeaters if it helps

Thanks

Shops get to place orders once a year for the harder to get ammo.
This was told to me by a gun shop owner.
They don't usually bring in non selling or hard ammo to sell.
Funds tied up in no producing inventory.
Find a shop willing to order the stuff in and leave them your Visa number
so they won't be stuck with their/your odd bawl supply.

I've seen it out here in Saskabush at CT. I usually buy any .32 I see at gun shows. I lucked out a few years back when CT was clearing out Winchester .32 Special. It was $7 or $8 a box.

.32 seems to crop up on occasion at Cabelas and Wholesale Sports in Winnipeg. Thought I saw a couple boxes on the shelf at WSS Winnipeg a few days ago come to think of it.

For those of us that shoot .38-55, 99.9% of us are reloaders. The other .1% have their rifles mounted on the wall as wall hangers. Winchester makes the caliber these days but ammo is few and far between and could require a 2nd mortgage to afford it when you do find it.

If you are ever passing through Eganville, On. stop in at the Country Depot on Hwy 60 across from the Foodland. One of the owners is a .32 Winchester Special fan and always keeps it in stock. I was in there a week ago and there were 6 or 7 boxes. Some Federal, some Winchester.

Do you know that you can use .30-30 or .32 Special cases to load .38-55's? They are a bit short but work just fine. Just run them through a .38-55 sizing die.
