where to find .361" bullets???

I had one made by mountain molds that dropped .363 because I have two .38 S&W that needed that big.

If you have a regular mold then you can increase the size of the bullet by 2 thou or so by putting heat resistant foil in between the mold halves. You buy it at Canadian Tire and it is for tapping up a hole in a muffler. Cut tiny strips and place them on one half of the mold and this will increase the size by about 1-2 thou. Just tumble lube them on pan lube and you should be just fine considering you are only shooting 25 yards anyway.

I load hollow base wadcutters. The soft lead base expands nicely.

Bullet Barn sells .363 lead RN for the Makorov. I bet they could size some of those a bit smaller. Would make a nice light plinker.
 
There was a group buy on Castboolits for a 6 cav 200 gn .361 Lee mold. Unfortunately(bad design) bullets are too long for enfield cylinder, but I get around it by squashing nose with flat punch in .361 sizer. Some british chambers won't allow case bulge caused by .361 bullet, mine is ok.

I'm loading a 190 gr SWCs from MT Chambers in my .357s and .38 Specials; perhaps give Ben Hunchak a PM and see what they size they drop at. Back when I shot .38 S&W in Enfield and S&W Victory model revolvers, I had no problem getting getting the bullets to hit point of aim with normal 158 gr SWCs and a pinch of Unique. Unfortunately those records are long gone, and I don't recall the load. I was called a heathen for trimming down .38 Special brass, rather than using .38 S&W brass, but these were low pressure loads and I never experienced any difficulties due to the undersized cases.

I shoot an antique .380 revolver with 38spl components.
I have 38S&W and 380MKIIz ammo and brass but prefer to trim 38spl brass.
It fireforms fine and isn't hard to extract.
I use .358 cast boolits because that's what the saami cartridge diagram shows.
