i'd be careful with red flares day or night, they are INTERNATIONAL distress symbol and can cause an emergency responce if seen by a plane or boat. Even the coast guard and military send out warnings when practicing with them. Even white flares can cause some issues,

Ahh yes, it is surprising how fast they react to the flares at night even 5 miles inland from Lake Superior :( . Please check with your local authorities, some have specific days a year to practice with flares.

RGR.

BTW, I checked in with Atlantic Aero Marine today, and they stated that they are unable to get any stock shipped since 9/11. Dangerous goods transport regs have also affected their ability to get them.

If there was a great demand for them, they might be able to find some by looking around, but they recommended a couple of other locations for them. (none local to me though.)

The flares are to small they are only one inch they are for the H&k flare gun sorry thought I got lucky

So get a machinist friend to turn a 37mm to 1inch adapter and have fun with the cheap stuff.
