Where to find 870 receiver screws?

I'm looking for the 4 small screws that plug the factory drilled and tapped holes in an 870 receiver. I apparently lost mine when I installed my mount.

Does anybody have a lead as to where I might look to find them?

Most any gunsmith will have filler screws. 6-48 or 8-40?
Bet if you called Remington, they'd send you some.

sorry, I had to.

If you have a sample, take it to a fastening house (like the fastening house, fastenal, etc), they can match it or source it for you.

HA! I never caught that, now edited.

I forgot about Fastenal. I'll check with Remington first. If no luck, I'll take my only remaining screw to fastenal.

no worries, my deeply ingrained sarcasm couldn't help it, despite my best intentions.

I'm sure Rem will be happy to send you more, if you ask nicely.
 
or, you could get a tap and re-tap them into something common, like 6-24 (which amazingly, does NOT fit in 6-48 like I would have thought) which are off-the-shelf at any hardware store.
