where to find a 300 WIN MAG muzzle break ?

Me,i would add a bit of weight to the rifle via a bedding job and invest in a limbsaver recoil pad but this is not what the O P is asking.As for muzzle brakes, your best course of action is to contact some reputable gunsmiths for quotes. You need to be aware though, hearing protection,both at the bench and afield is an absolute must. Magnums tend to be offensively loud to begin with.
 
I had Jennings years back put one on the 308 Norma Mag.
Not the greatest idea I have had, but it allows me to use the old gal.
Dave Jennings angles his ports forward slightly so there is less blast
from the recoil dampening device.
He's not cheap, but does nice work.

Don't take it personal Looky, those two have so much scar tissue over their right eyes it only helps their ugly mugs... Us good lookin' fellas are doing the world a favor by putting a little insurance at the muzzle!
 
Muzzle brakes work by turning recoil into noise. That might be a fair trade-off if you want to see your bullets hit and you can wear muffs all the time, but one shot without earing protection will leave you in agony. Believe me, it hurts a lot more than getting kicked.
 
There are a few brakes that do a good job at directing the extra noise away from the shooter but it's no more pleasant for those around you.

My condolences... I was speaking of one of those "frozen moments in time..." They do have medicinal remedies for your particular malady, but should it work for more than four hours, please do call your doctor...

A s2 is a hunting rifle, not some bench gun and unless you are going to walk through the woods with ear protection on you won't enjoy shooting it with a brake on.

I can handle the recoil... I usually put a lot down range. 60-100 rounds every time I go out with it. I don't hunt, I like to play on the bench and target shoot longer distances. I would like to put a break on it because after 100 rounds, you are a bit sore...I would like to reduce that... Derp.

Yea I was thinking about them but I have my optic set up perfectly and I don't want to adjust it for the extra padding. All about consistency with long range shooting... Small things mess yah up.
