Yes , the place I was at also had just raised their prices from $ 199.99 to $ 229.99 , That $30.00 hike over night , near 12% increase .

There are still some places who are $ 179.00 and 199.00 , buy sight unseen but at a $50.00 discount over $229.99 prices , I might have to start to reconsider not buying one more of different year to add to the collection.

Supply and demand will rule .

A number of years ago ( quiet a few now ) 303 Surplus was plentiful and cheap , under $ 200.00 per 1000 rounds , well it's all gone and 303 is now expensive as any other 30 cal center fire ,,,,,, will history repeat it self again .......time will tell

Never known them to stock / sell junk - if somethin' is lacking, they usually compensate with price reduction.

Yes I hear good things about them , I have never purchased from as of yet . I live in SW Ontario and Huron Gun and Rod is in my neck of the woods , the two I just bought came from them and are pretty nice , I think ,, ( see my pictures on this thread ) and at 179.00 with the June free shipping Special ,, delivered tax in was 202.00 ea. So being close to me shipping costs are much lower and the Canpar delivery took 2 days .

I hope they run the same type of sale in August , maybe I take a day and drive up and buy a couple more

the one i got at westrifle last week is as perfect as you could ask for, not even a scratch. pay the extra 40 bucks because 25-30 of that is the free shipping anyways. 15 dollars extra to get a mint sks is nothing to me nor should it be to you.

I have a Russian & Chinese, both are fun to shoot. For $200 you can't but a better rifle. The Chinese was new, in cosmoline unissued. You won't go wrong with either one.
