Thanks waterloomike
I am looking high and low. I would take the target too if I can find it.
Good luck.
I did manage to find a Mark III Target that is new.
After holding it, I decided it was just as good or better than the Hunter.
I would agree. In fact when I bought my Hunter I had to get the sights changed over to a partridge target style as it came with the fiber optic deal which wasn't ideal for target shooting. Don't get me wrong I love the wood grips and the fluted barrel but the target ones are good to go right out of the box.
I couldn't find anything wrong with it. It just had sweetness written all over it.
Have you cleaned yours yet?
I watched their online videos. It seems easy enough when you only break it down into groups. I admit, the mallet gave me pause. but Ruger says it's no sweat. Just tap it apart and tap it back together.
My last ATT came through in less than 24 hours. So I'm hoping this one goes nearly as fast. Already over 24 hours, though. Maybe tomorrow.
Watch as many of the videos as you can. Each one will have those few seconds that are
different from the others but will clarify a bit more.
When you take the best parts of each video and apply them it'll be sweet.
I have taken off the magazine safety and replaced most of the innards with VQ parts.
You can change the basic gun to a Competition .22 LR.
Many of our ISSF shooters have done that.

Oh Yes I've taken it apart a few times. It's been a while though. The first time I was watching TV and finally got fed up after about half an hour of not being able to get it back together properly. I broke down and watched the video. Only took about 10 minutes after that. I bought a mallet after that first time.
That's about the only real negative with the Ruger. Putting it back together!!
I hope the transfer goes quick for you. Great little pistol.

Yeah, it is. Thanks. I need to hit those zombie targets!
