Hello peeps. I’ve been searching for a while now for a quality O/U. I’m leaning towards Browning and Beretta.

I want it for sporting clays, trap skeet etc. Maybe to hunt one day. So sporting could work too I think.

Would prefer a mint used or if anyone knows of any gun shops with great deals. New or used.

30” plus barrels and 3” chambers. High rib is good. I’m not opposed to a semi like a Beretta A400 multi target as well.

I’ve put a WTB ad but not getting much response.

Budget say 4K or less but worth more obviously.

If anyone knows someone private or a retail shop that has anything let me know here or by PM.

THANKS

Handle a couple of each and figure out which brand fits you.

Then start following the EE. The gun of your dreams will show up before you know it.

Yes. I’ve handle quite a few. I really like the 725 models. But a golden clays gets up there in price. The normal ones are kinda plain looking. I like it to have some nice wood and engravings. I want to find something nicer than a entry machine stamped SP1.

And when I see them on the EE. They are priced as a new gun with thousands of rounds through it and buddy says it’s like new. Lol.

Go figure.

Prophit river usually has a good selection of over unders. Easthill outdoors, gobles. The list is rather long too many stores to list.

If I wanted to pay full retail I wouldn’t have wrote this post. I know that every gun shop has them. So I don’t think you understood.

You offer a price range of 4k, new or used. So I guess you don't understand your own post. No where did you say "I'm too damn cheap and lazy to go through a stores used section".

Have you spent much time at your local Clay clubs ? They are usually a good source of used guns. Gives you a chance to try it out as well.

Romeo, it looks like you are trying to buy champagne with a beer budget. As you have noticed yourself, there are some fine new guns by Beretta, Browning and others within your $4000 budget but they are too "plain" for your taste. I would suggest that you have several options...
Lower your "tastes" and buy what your budget allows
Raise your budget and buy what your heart desires
Search patiently and diligently for a used gun that meets both your desire and your budget and don't be afraid to bargain.

It looks like you are another dreamer, always looking to get something desirable for far under market value. Dream on, you are subject to the same market forces as the rest of us

I appreciate your comments. But I’m new to the sport and don’t want to spend 10k for a gun, which I can. But I have other hobbies and interests as well.

Maybe I’m a dreamer but if I don’t have to pay taxes that’s a bonus. And who doesn’t want a deal?

The bottom line is the net price you obtain - tax or not.
It is utterly unreasonable to expect exemption from tax that a business is required to collect.

Sure it is if I buy private. Some retailers don’t charge tax on used firearms. I’m looking. Trust me. Just thought some of you here would know places. I didn’t come here or start this post to be trashed by some of you. If that’s the case mind your own business and move along.

Lots of attitude and unwilling to do the work. For those of us who do do the work, why would we alert you to the deals we find?

Oh, and sure you can afford $10K. The guys I know who can just buy the gun.

Lol. Just noticed the Porsche crest as your avatar. On a gun site. Figures.
