Where to find a Ruger SP101 .22?

Been looking and looking some more......nothing. It appears that the country is sold out of these.


Would like to buy it new. Just played with a Ruger Single 10 and almost walked away with it as the wait for the SP101 is getting a bit long :sok2

I would really prefer a SA/DA but dont' knock it till ya try it I guess. Not to keen on the loading gate either.

I'm in the same boat. Have considered others like the Taurus and Charter but keep coming back to the Ruger. I think I'll try to preorder somewhere.

Yep, that's what I did 7 months ago.


The shops I contacted had no problem taking my info and putting me on there backorder list.

P&D was the only one too ask for a deposit, although they had no idea on when/how it would arrive or even if they would get any

Taurus has a really bad reputation for thier lack of customer service. Not exactly well made either.
"...legal barrels in Canada..." And Ruger doesn't care about the Canadian market any more than any other U.S. manufacturer.
 
I was on the list for Wolverine and they called back about 6 months ago with one that had come in. Passed on it as I had read some of the earlier ones had issues. Once they're more available and have their issues resolved, probably already are, I'll definitely jump on one. These would be the perfect woods plinker if we were allowed to carry them.
