Where to find a specific used rifle? (Besides the equipment exchange )

Hi guys. I'm wanting to find a rem 700 varmint special or varmint synthetic in .17 remington. Any other places to look to buy one besides the e.e.?

Gunbroker in the US and have someone import it like IRG or Prophet.

You could try hanging around gun shows as well. The hunt is half the fun of buying used firearms, and what you're looking for almost always turns up eventually, though not necessarily at a price you're willing to pay.

Get a subscription to Canadian Access to Firearms, a monthly periodical paper with good editorial pieces scattered throughout. It contains lots of adds by various private and commercial gun merchants to wade through, the danger is that there are so many juicy choices you may forget what it was you wanted in the first place.
