I have a ad up in the EE and on a few other forums. Any one know where a fella might find a stainless Rem 700 in 338 win mag? They appear to be hard to find and I cant find any listings for them in the 2020 Rem catalog. A new one would be nice but a very good to exc. shape one would work.

They call those the 338 Winchester Rem improved.
I may say they are an excellent choice, I hunt with one, the BDL SS DM version. Love it, got from Wholesale many years ago while visiting Alberta, local smith cut almost 12 oz of stainless off, fluted bolt, minimized barrel diameter and slabbed action. Now I am on here hunting for same gun in 308. Have a few Tikka's but taking gun OFF safe to load/unload just does NOT feel right.
Issues Remington had/has, Covid and being in Canada seams we are not a priority for imports. Dealers here gave up on Remington, nobody wants or has for sale.
What's a Rem guy to do. Hope we both find that elusive Rem gem.
