Where to find good selection of 1911 grips

I was told today at a local gun store, that it was near impossible to order aftermarket grips from the States and ship them here. And nobody seems to carry much selection at any local shops. I want some grips for my 1911's and my CZ75. VZ Grips has a nice selection in the States. Can anybody point me to somewhere online in Canada that carries a selection?

you can order any kind of grips from old US of A, depend only if the manuf or dealer has a valid export permit

my personal favorite is: Kim Ahrends, IMO he has one of the best grips
try also: grips4u, marschal grips, hogues, brownells...

I actually removed the VZ grips that came stock on my Valor and bought some Amboyna burl grips from Sarge.

If you get a chance, checkout killercustom grips from the states. Last time I checked, they shipped to Canada, but they have a waiting list for some of thier stuff. It's well worth it.

I buy from ebay, have them shipped to ship happens in sumas, washington and go pick them up myself. Never had an issue with the border.

Call your local gun/outdoor shops and see if they carry houge grips. Check the part # from there website and place an order. I got green grips on the way for my 1911 as we speak. Im sure one of our sponsors above carry's them. Place an order for what you want. There's plenty on there website for cheap.

VZ Grips they will ship direct to you. It's better to call in your order and then email it, rather then doing it through their website. The reason being they will give you a discount on the shipping. Their website for Canada shipping defaults to a crazy price.
