Where to find H&K 417 ??

just pullled it out of the box so no extras, tried ordering some 5/20's but no luck, where do you get them? Only other item I''d like is a folder but not sure them make them or where to get them, new to the game.

I had the mount on the other way, too much interference, so I turned it around, don't care how it looks, only how it functions, and for me it functions better this way, its the other way around on the san.
 
The MR308 is one of the bigest ticket failures out there in my opinion.
I think I'd be tempted to give an XCR a go over this...well, maybe not quite that far....

H&K could really dominate the markets if they lost some of that German arrogance and listened to what people want instead of sticking to designs of what they thing the people should have.


Dizzy - nice mounting solution - what do you mean by 'interference'? Any reason why you didn't just go with regular rings?

to get the optic position where I wanted it the mount had to sit way back on the rail and it took up some space that interfered with the controls on the rifle, Really don't see how turning it arround poorly affects anything other than looks. I had the mount kicking around so I used it, I do have other rings, burris exreme tactical but they are not quick release. and I like to take the scope off when cleaning and the larue gives me a return to zero every time, so why not use it? Open to better solutions though

The MR308 did pass, apparently i herd the 417's that entered the competition was geared more for a battle rifle as opposed to DMR!


It's all rumor anyways!

well i would very much like to know whether or not it passed the test. im an accuracy whore :p
