Kevin, can you please confirm or deny the rumour that Knights has a policy of not selling parts to non american civilians. There are several small bits and pieces I wouldn't mind having. If this is indeed the case, can you supply the name of a canadian friendly retailer.
Thanks
TF
One Shot Tactical and Colt Canada are Mil/LE Distributors, however One Shot is trying to as Farmboy pointed out we are currently working with him to get a large order thru DoS for civilian resale. Its not that we at KAC have a policy against non American civilians, its just that all of our products are ITAR controlled.
Certain items, Mk11's (Mod0, Mod1, Mod2), M110's, and our SR-25 Battle Rifle are banned from export for civilians as they are used by the US Military and have been ruled against for export.
Our new SR-25 Special Light Weight Match is not a rifle in use with the Military, and we beleive it may be exportable thru either Farmboy, or Questar (who does his own exports).
KMC itself which is our civilian manufacturing side, does not export, thus Christy and I on the KAC side are trying to get what we can export, out to Darren in the most timely and painless manner we can.
As I am still at work, I went and looking into how the QD Push Button recepticals are inserted - they seem to be screwed together and affixed with rockset and a plastic sealant - but that is just me examining the parts, not watching assembly.
Yuu -- stealing Clint Lynch's picture is not really cool as he uses at his avatar on Lightfighter.
