where to find mags for SU22?

I got my three from Questar, but that's when the su-22 first came out. FYI the black dog mags work great.
Another is CMMG mags, they work also. You could try Bownells.
I hope you like your su-22 as much as I like mine.
I've ordered the 275 round drum from the US. Hope it works, guess I'm one of the first in Canada to get one, since no one has posted anything on them.

Thought that I would post up my findings on what mag's work and what give me difficulties with the SU22 platform.
First off the SU22 is now over 2,000 rounds and all I did was to take it out of the box and shoot it. No lube, no cleaning anything and no malfunctions yet to report. Now that is out of the way lets talk about magazines for this rifle.
First up is the stock mag that comes with the rifle. You have to press in the mag release button when inserting the magazine on my rifle. Any one else experiance this issue with there's? Also you can modify it to hold 15 instead of 10 by removing the tabs inside the mag has been reported on other places but I have yet to try this. Has anyone out there attempted this? Further more I have been noticeing maring on the feed lips were the bolt rest's against. Any one else notice that the bolt hold open function doesn't work on it either?
Next up is the black dog 30 rounders with the metal feed lips. No maring and the ocasional FtF senario. Plus I do not have to press in the magazine button to seat the magazine and when I press the button to strip it out off the magwell. All I have to do is lock back the bolt carrier and depress the magazine release button and it falls right out of the rifle. To me it seems a little out of spec on the width for this rifle platform compared to the other magazines. Here are some picture's:
Then the last one I have tried is the black dog 50 round drum mag. Got to say it works just like the stock mag except it holds 40 more rounds. Plus I find it a little cumbersome when tring to activate my light switch button, not the pad. Shown here:

I havent had any issues with my rifle. Thing just runs like a top. ABout cutting the tab in the mag to make it hold 15, i would not be advertising that as you just made that mag a prohib.
Question tho, the spikes fake can, does it thread itself right on the end of the barrel is it some sort of retaining screws securing it???

As for the BD mags, I haven't seen any but look south, I'm sure you can get a good deal from the US considering all that's going on. Lol

Damn, how much were the chiappa mags? I hope not over $35 including shipping each. I've seen them priced stupidly at $45 in store. My bd mags were 3 for $100 including tax and shipping from Questar. However it looks like they have upped the price do to demand. Browells is $24

I just got my cmmg mags on Wednesday but haven t tried them in my su yet. They look almost identical to the BD mags that I bought from Questar. I got the cmmg mags from Wolverine. As for the op's comment about the mag release having to be pushed in to let the mag in. I also had that issue. I took care of that by die grinding an angle on the square piece of the mag release that protrudes into the mag well. The mags now slide up into the well with minimal effort. I looked into the pistol grip for mine and ya they are very expensive. I plan on going a different route by buying the pieces individually.
I can't tell you how different the SU is with the pistol grip!
It ads a lot of weight IMO but is very very stable and the break down pin is soooo much easier to work now! It doesn't feel airsoftish because of the new weight and good plastic used. I great thing about the pistol grip is if you own both the SU22 and su16, the grip works for both.

Really thatz darn cheap. Even when I got the discount it still was way more than the $24.
Well I fixed the 30 rounder...
To function properly in the rifle. All it took was 3 piece's of duck tape to be cut and place on the front wal of the magazine. Show here:
