Where to find OEM G19 threaded barrel?

Wondering if there's still anyone here that stock the original Glock 19 threaded from a few years ago with the Gen3 imports. Not looking to go aftermarket yet and want to try it out in the G19X.

I'd look into the compatability of using a gen 3 barrel in a gen 5 gun. The recoil springs are different in diameter where they sit against the barrel. I was told awhile back by a Glock armorer that you can use a newer gen barrel in an older gen gun, but not an older gen3 barrel in a gen 4 (or now gen 5 id assume)

Interesting... I thought it was just the G17 that were not compatible between generations...

I think you're right; the 17's changed, but the 19's did not.

PS I might know a guy with an OEM Gen 3 G19 threaded barrel in the parts bin...

This is the issue I was referring to. Again, I'm not sure if it's actually an issue or not as I've never tested this individually, but worth noting I suppose.

To my knowledge, the gen 5's have the same RSA cutout as the gen 4.

read this, took out my old Gen3 G19TB and my brand new G19X and swapped the barrels back and forth between them.
seems like no difference between them.
where the recoil spring seats (like shown above) is maybe 1/10 of a mm deeper cut down on the new one???
